We are delighted to announce the appointment of Alan Pollock as the new creative producer and project manager at Peel Interactive.

Alan brings a huge wealth of interactive and digital capability and experience with him to the new role, having previously held the position of Senior Team Lead for Wren Kitchens planning team based in Hull.

Joining the Peel Interactive team at an exciting and busy time, Alan will be responsible for taking the lead on two important projects which aim to deliver a suite of video, AV and interactive experiences and installations for clients within the Arts and Cultural sector.

Alan said: “I am excited about bringing my commercial understanding of the end user to Peel and how they prefer to interface with digital technology, in the aim of further enhancing the already cutting edge products it is developing.

“Peel Interactive’s products for the likes of The Parliamentary Education Centre and the Wales Coast Path are quite revolutionary, incorporating sophisticated software to produce incredible visitor experiences – so this is a really fantastic next step for me.”

During his time at Wren Kitchens, Alan headed up the team responsible for creating the 3D software which enabled customers to plan and view a proposed kitchen in full photo realism. Incorporating Maya and Unity, the bespoke software offers ‘at the touch of a button’ modifications to colour, style, layout, internal configuration and branded appliances. Prior to this role Alan worked as a freelance digital artist across a number of major brands including, Puma, Marks & Spencer, Argos, Homebase and Halfords.

Alan lives in Boroughbridge with his wife Nicola and three children. A keen runner and mountain biker, Alan is currently in training for his fifth marathon, the Rother Valley – which although not as glamorous as Berlin and New York which he also recently completed, is definitely a little more convenient to get to! To balance out all the exercise Alan also admits to enjoying good food and craft ale, saying: “I don’t really know much about either but I’ll give anything a go!”
