As our interactive digital solutions continue to go from strength to strength, especially within the museum, heritage, tourism and visitor attraction sectors, we are delighted to announce a brand new partnership with Whitehaven’s popular Beacon Museum.

Situated between the Georgian town’s iconic mines and harbour, the Beacon Museum and Art Gallery tells the story of historic Copeland and its Viking silver and Victorian trading ships, along with a deep insight into the area’s relationship with the nuclear energy industry.

Our aim – as always – is to help attract new audiences and loyal advocates to the museum, in order to secure its long and lasting reputation on the local, national and even global stage. Through the provision of sustainable and resilient digital solutions, including immersive experiences and experiential and engaging multimedia resources, over the next 12 months we will integrate interactive experiences into the existing interpretation to further support the museums aim to bring the area’s incredible heritage and history back to life.

Our expertise in creating augmented and virtual reality experiences, 3D animations and projections, multimedia touchscreen displays and games is well documented through our work with clients such as the Parliamentary Education Centre, Burrell Renaissance and York Mansion House. All these capabilities will be incorporated into the Beacon Museums digital offering to ensure its immersive storytelling and educational experiences are not only accessible for those with SEND needs, but enable tourists, locals and businesses to forge a real connection to and sense of pride in Copeland’s rich heritage.
