Lead Programmer and 3D Artist

Specialising in programming, 3D modelling and computer vision technologies such as Augmented Reality, Jon started working with websites, multimedia and digital video over 20 years ago and has worked in the commercial, educational, engineering and museum sector during this time.

Jon brings a wealth of experience such as working with Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Computer Vision Algorithms and Satellite & Point Cloud data. He has developed town planning applications for two local councils, engineering based configuration and ordering applications for a number of US companies, written a 3D Augmented Reality sales/survey tool for Proctor & Gamble’s Hugo Boss sales team, a 3D product-based shop layout display tool for Tesco/Warner Bros and produced stereoscopic immersive 3D training on flight dynamics such as blade flapping for UH60 Black Hawk US Army Pilots, including an immersive hydraulic ram-driven helicopter flight simulation.

Educationally, Jon has worked on a number of resources including a lighting design application for theatre students and a suite of apps for Android and Windows Desktop, aimed at teaching building engineering students about renewable energy installations. He has also worked on Heritage based applications such as ‘Visit Yorkshire’ and most of the projects based here at Peel Interactive.

Recently, Jon has been leading the development of our projects technically, and looks forward to working with our expanding team on new ventures.
